    Thoughts on the differences of these impellers?

    I was thinking about trying the 160mm 15/23 83mm big hub impeller I have left over from the R&D pump in the stock pump with 160mm liner. What are your thoughts I may see with the bigger hub impeller verses the smaller hub? Both will be used in the stock pump with 160mm liner. As you can see the design of each impeller is totally different (big hub on right).

    Previously I ran-
    Small hub 160mm 15/23 pitched to a 15/19 in stock pump turned 8940-9000 rpm at 87.7mph with about 5 cavitations.
    The big hub 160mm 15/23 pitched to a 15/21 in R&D 14 vein pump turned 8900 rpm at 86.7 mph with 3 cavitations.

    Two different hub sizes will fit in the stock pump?

    something tells me that big hub is going to kill rpms with the 155mm.might work if you tweak it or big nozzle

    Yeah, I was thinking to try running the big hub impeller with the 87mm exit with 92mm steering.

    Down the road, I will definitely go with a twin, but for now just making what I have work. I am trying to sell the big hub impeller, but since I have it I can always try it. Nothing beats the twin, it pulls harder, no cavitation, and retains the same top speed in the right setup.

    I was curious how these compare to one another because the big hub impeller not only has the big hub, but also has the longer nose, steeper root angle, and the design of the leading edge is different.
