    RXP-X 260 - Trim Tabs

We've got options to use the plastic OEM trim tabs or the identical billet tabs from Riva. A third option is the extended R&D Ride Plate Trim Pads. Does anyone have any experience with the R&D units?

Obviously having the trim tabs correctly shimmed and leveled is going to make a difference, but I'm curious if the extended tabs would be able to help with maintaining the top speed of a stock boat in rough water.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out if the R&D units offer an advantage...

The new riva tabs will be best especially for a stock boat. Above 77ish you will still have some hop but that won't be an issue for stock class . Now that they have adjusted the mounting holes they will fit better than the original design. For speeds approaching 80+ you will need to shim them down but you will still see some speed increase over stock across the board. And the riva tabs will also get rid of the high speed pull to the right that a lot of these hulls have. I'm a fan!
