    Fuel pressure regulator question

I just installed an R&D FPR and set it to 58 psi. It's rock solid at 58 while fuel pump is running but when the pump shuts off the pressure drops back to zero in about 5 seconds.

Any ideas? There are no leaks any where BTW.

it did hold the first 5 or six times, it dropped to about 40 then I fired the motor for about ten seconds and then that's when I noticed it dropping.

If you you say its cool then I'll go with it....

I suppose yours does it as well?

I have a aeromotive fuel pump and regulator and Danny's rail with Id 1000's. key on 58 psi key off it will gradually drop to zero. As Steve says completely normal the key is to maintain the base while the pump is on and while ski is running. You can go into the pump and change the crimp hoses or hose clamps and it will slow it down. What's happening is your losing pressure from the hoses to and from fuel pump internally.
