How does the F-15 fuel economy compare with the F-12?
Comparing the 2 non-turbo models...anyone know the mpg or range of the F-15? I know a F-12 gets 8.5-9 mpg and will go 115-120 miles before the beeper goes off.
The F-15 will get less, but how much less? It's fuel tank is ~2 gallons larger but I'm guessing the range will be slightly less than the F-12.

Ok, no input there. But I did get a fuel recommendation on the non-turbos. I was told by an X Aquatrax design engineer that the premium only criteria is directed at the turbo models and that the NA Honda's will run fine on 87 octane. The sensor will compensate and the only noticeable affect is a slight loss in acceleration. Anyone tried it and did you notice any knocking?

Just got my F15X 2008 straight out of the crate. I have only done 7hrs so far I'm finding the consumption surprising good. Its not that far of my 07 FXHO which was pretty economical, admittedly I haven't pushed it hard.
I can only guess the F15 non turbo will be a petrol miser.I will only run it High octane Sorry no figures yet.

Yeah, definitely stick to 91+ octane on the turbo models.

There are at least 3 or 4 F15 that I know of still in crates around the Central FL area. Posted on PWC trader. Dealer's won't discount them, factory is not kicking back, so they just sit there because no one will pay 10-12K for a "brand new" 2008 ski.

Due to the higher compression of the non turbo will require the premium fuel......yes the knock system will cut timing back.....but the non turbo is already slow......why not spend the extra 4 bucks and use the premium fuel and get all you can get because if 4 bucks is difference in this debate maybe you should buy a Civic Hybrid
