    Crank shaft oil seal??????

I was removing a piece of the drive shaft damper that got stock inside the pto hole and accidentally took the crankshaft oil seal out. Do i have to remove the pto cover to put it back in or can i do this with the pto cover on??? The picture below is only to show the oil seal!!

if you can reach the end of the shaft, you should be able to press a new one in without any problems

You can change that seal with the PTO cover on. Its soft rubber just pull the old out and work the new seal into the groove at the end ofthe crank. It doesn't press in or anything like that.
