Well FK....... thats a problem......its not......it acts like its pressed onto the shaft......nut has been removed.

Maybe some light torch action might help.......just warming it up a bit.....that thing is on there tight.

Use a press. I would not beat on the shaft or wheel.

Heat gun the wheel. it will fall off. NO hammers Allowed tables while working on Supercharger. A heat gun and a litle patience will work every place you think you need the hammer. it will gently expand the alum parts and it will slide back together beautifully. DO NOT HIT or PRESS on anything that contacts the brgs or loads the brg surfaces into the balls. Your new brgs will be destroyed right then..... the correct Supercharger tool kit helps support all parts to help assist assembly without damage to New brgs.

HEAT HEAT HEAT...DO NOT hit the wheel for any reason...You could damage it unknowingly..The wheel is probably stuck on from some excess loctite...heat the hub and twist the wheel while locking the clutch assembly,(make sure you wear gloves, the wheel will be hot)it should eventually come off...

Hopefully your doooing a complete rebuild with washers and bearings...

The proper tools for rebuilds are in the greenhulk store..
Or if you have doubts send it to Jerry.
If that charger fails it can cost you 2k+ in damages..

Tried the heat gun......No luck.....That wheel is ON THERE!!!!!!!......Any other suggestions. This thing was previously rebuild once before by the dealer but they didnt re assemble it correctly and the drive gear fell off in the pto housing....I repaired engine and is fine but this is the last thing I have to do to get this thing running. I have a Complete rebuild kit that has all new everything except the impeller and housing.....the shaft got chewed up on the drive side so it will be replaced regardless.....I dont see any notches on the new shaft that would prevent the shaft from simply being pushed out with a press because of a retaining clip.........is it possible to just use the press and push it out with the impeller still on or is there some kind of retaining mechanism under the wheel that will prevent the shaft from sliding out.........

By the way I know better than to hammer a balanced aluminum impeller that spins at 50k rpms.........I've rebuilt turbos but this is my first supercharger

Try using a little gas on it..the heat gun IMO doesn't get hot enough to break the picture loose...don't get to crazy with the heat ...
