    That you value power ??

For those who have received your pwc with Ecu tuning, we always talk about top speed and top rpm
But we never estimated the horsepower .... for example I think a stage 1 ( 8.350-8.375 rpm ) in a RXT 260 I would be talking about 280 horsepower .... you to think?

Who's stage 1 ? There are no parameters to that question. stage 1,2,3 is whatever the owner decides to call it these days. Different strokes for different folks. Dose a R&D stage blah equal a riva stage blah ???? Unless your measuring hp from a pump loaded dyno it's as good as the dreamometer IMO

Maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but will give you an idea of HP.

Specific stage's have been tossed aside now that the standard power on skis has changed. I asked that question 5 years ago, and its funny to look back now and see the numbers we were using

    http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=73866

Only a 4hp difference between the chargers? Thats $1000 difference in chargers...

Yeah. Too bad they didn't turn them up to 9300rpms like I do.

At least RIVA appears to not be inflating the HP numbers with their RIVA package. Gives guys here a real idea about the HP they are making or not making.

If i could find a prop and pump combo at a reasonable price, i could be a "heavy stage 6.43"
end of the day, it runs all day and is reliable and no issues. I have placed a 400hp sticker on my ski to wind up all the big charger boys. But its a dream figure.. But i do know that we were limited with a 350hp turbo.. And the new one is rated for 500..

that graph is garbage without the boost psi
and you need to know the piston CR
very conservative is 10hp per lbs boost plus motor hp
with a good intercooler and correct timing and afr it could be as high as 12hp/lb boost
like others have said, stage whatever is also useless
I read that graph as 15psi at 8500 is 300hp

So I'd be safe to say 400 hp is my skis hp? That seems crazy

Its all relative. Boost is an important factor. We went from 22psi to 18psi with a turbo change to keep rpm's the same. The other ski went for a turbo change and gained a crap load more power at the same boost. No dyno figures, just grin factor as you pinned the throttle and screamed like a little child.
