    Help with crank shaft info

I have a 06 block in a 2002 155 GTX. With all the 02 pto housing and electronics. I was told to move the encoder wheel 120 degrees.

I found the sticky thread after I had done the work. Posted in that thread yesterday, but really need some help.

The idle is around 1400. Top rpm 6500-6700. Engine just doesn't sound right. I read about the difference being 127 degrees not 120. No faults with BUDS.

Can anybody help me with this? Can new holes be drilled in the encoder wheel to get it in the right spot?

    Thanks

    Yes. It's a new 06 short block.

I replaced the idle air valve and now it idles fine. Turned the encoder wheel 120 degrees clockwise. should I slot the holes to go another 7 degrees clockwise?
