Got a quick Q,how does the ski stay stationary in the launch pad?
Just wondering what keeps the ski from idling forward...there's a guy in the back of the pad releasing the skis with pole stick of some kind that holds the ski...
someone chime in on this who knows...

the guy in the back raises and drops the skis, that is a winch type system that will raise the skis enough to hold them on the bunks but keep the pump loaded if you give the ski some gas it will come off the bunks, the guy in the back is at the center where the winch is located then there is a bar and pulleys that attach to each side to raise and lower

Speaking of Duke...
Shane let me put my GoPros on the platform this year and I made some slowmotion shots (1/4 speed). Here's some of Duke's launches and note in the last two scenes the guy in the back flipping the lever, which drops the bunks. Being on the platform is a ride in itself. Damn thing comes back about 3 feet or so after the skis clear.
