Waiting for my new pwc....GTX 255 IS!
Greetings all from cold (4c) North Greece.
I owned a 2005 RXT 215, really enjoyed this pwc, until i took for a spin a mates Rxtx 260 and instantly knew i had to get a S3 hull on my hands for the next season. I mean this hull really is a major update on the way a pwc handles.
So i was looking for a 2009+ pwc and considering i only drive on open sea where it gets really choppy i found a great deal on a GTX 255 IS.
I am really excited and can not wait to take it for a ride. Actually i have nt ridden a suspension pwc , but mates reckon it is a dream at our conditions we are riding.
I will put a reboarding step (as the oem broke) and saw that sea doo now makes a better version for this part (common issue i was told).
Is there any mod i should be making in this craft so as to have a problem free season?
Are there any weaknesses i should address?

The rear step had a service bulletin and was being replaced for free for a while. I don't know if they are still Dooing that.
The stock drive shaft was rubber lined and the rubber came off and rusted real bad under the rubber. My 09 gtx I S 255 had over 160 hrs of haulin ASS when I sold it. Very comfortable ski for rough conditions. Just a little bit slower than a rxtx due to the extra suspension weight.

Can u plz give me a link for the part i ll need to buy in order to replace the rubber one? Is it an updated oem one or aftermarket?
Nope, unfortunately they do not replace the rear step! This one broke along with its fittings, so all parts need to be bought.
