    Kind of a dumb impeller question

    This is for the 04 RXP.

    Over the winter I plan on an ET127 wheel with 42lb injectors along with the current mods in signature I understand I need a 15/20 impeller. I purchased this ski in July and I thought it had the stock impeller turns out it has a Solas SRX CD 14/19R. Took a little while to get in there as the nozzle bolts were quite corroded. If I send it to Impros can it be pitched to a 15/20 or do I need to buy a 15/20 ?

    With mods in signature before the wheel and injectors I GPS'd 68.8 at 8100rpm with the 14/19 that has good leading edges but the rear edges are a little messed up.

    it will work but the root angle of that prop wont be the same as a 15/20.. I ran the exact prop and when I switched to a 15/20 I gained 1mph

    that 127 wheel will need the 15/20 +1-2mm pitched to that 15 /20

    Is that bending the trailing edges to make it more aggressive ? Eg: if the impeller was on a table splines up then the trailing edge would be bent down closer to the table ?

    yes... that wheel will put you on the limiter as your sit now

    I did the ET127, 42's and ext ic, plus more then whats in your sig. 14/19 was no good for me. Even with a 15/20, pump was pulled 3 times to get it of the limiter.
