    300x air mod thought

Great site! After reading all the threads on modding the 300x, and the thoughts on getting more cool air in and hot air out, I'm thinking of adding a bilge blower. Either drawing air into the intake tubes or using it to exhaust the hot air out. Anybody have any thoughts on what could be gained? Any drawbacks?
    Thanks,
    Bob

All you will accomplish is making your ski slower. By restricting the much needed air inlets that are there allready.

Yep, total waste of money. Unless my calculations are wrong, even at 5000rpm the engine needs more than 3000 litres of air every second! Next time you're flushing it out on the hose, put you hand behind the exhaust and get someone to give it a rev for you.

Wow!, that's alot of air. Good to know. Wasn't sure how effective it would have been on the intake, but thought it might help getting the heat out....that is why one of the recommendations is to trim the rear hoses up under the seat? I'm in Maine, so all I can do now is think about riding again. Already added the Riva SCOM after the season was over and can only wax this thing so many times.
    Thanks for the thoughts!

Same here, except with my GTX SC in Nova Scotia... Lakes are starting to freeze and all I can think of is May
