Low Compression, Oil at SC and Water at Throttle Body.

Yay!! looks like I got a shitty IC.

Motor needed oil at 8hr's and is now very low at 17hr's. Coded at 12 hour's and again at 15 hour's. Complete shut down both times. Code stored was TOPS Valve. WOT RPM has been dropping back from 8040 to 7750 to 7700 to 7500.

Dealer has got it now. We popped the hose off the SC, heaps of oil there. Popped the hose off at the TB, heaps of water there. Compression on Cyl#1 was barely 100, Cyl#2 was 90 and Cyl#3 was 110. Plugs looked lean as.

    THANKS SEADOO!!!

Hit them up for a new motor and free extended warranty..
Look up your local lemon (defective new unit) laws.
Be super nice with the dealership and get them on your side.
Maybe tell them your wanting another new ski but it depends on how well they treat you with this 1....

Best of luck and sorry to hear about your issues..

Yep, but you don't expect it to be your completely stock 17hr 2013 RXP260X. The dealer tends to think that a new motor would be the way to go, not a repair on such a new boat. But it all comes down to the distributor and Seadoo. I'm not happy though.

With your conversion ski you are pushing it yeah . But a near new stock ski .... is it pushing oil out the breather to the intake or leaking charger seal ? Have you got your other ski going .. any damage ?

Oil is blow by. No Compression and water sitting at the TB. Thats gotta be coming from the IC. Pipe after IC up to TB clean (hosed clean probably) And a puddle of water sitting againest the closed butterfly. So the IC is probably full of oil also.

Turbo boat is just waiting for the fuel rail to be reinforced and bolt up and good to go. Replaced all silicon couplers as insurance. Rail should be done Monday and then fire up and fingers crossed no other issues.
