Spark compared to a Honda R12

I promised myself that I would never purchase another Sea-doo again after my last RXP, but I will admit that the Spark might fit my needs. I purchased a cabin this year on a river that the locks are about 10 miles apart. So top speed is not really a thing that means much anymore. At 50MPH the spark is fast enough for the river. How does it compare in stability to a R12 or R12X? I could see purchasing two, but the wife will want something that is very stable. All feedback about the spark would be helpful.

The pelican billed spark rides very stable for its size.
Its not super dry in the chop, but dryer than a gp1200 for example.

Doo yourself a favor and don't buy a Honda ski..
They build great cars, generators, motorcycles etc.. but not skis...
I never had any luck with a Honda ski..

Thanks for your thoughts wotxxxsd, but I have owned 10 Hondas during the years. I guess one mans bad luck is another mans good luck. I have never had a single issue on a Honda ski except a A/M intake grate on a R12X that cause me issues. I have thousands of hrs on these skis and never had a problem.

A super dry ride is not important, what is important is how stable it is and how easy it is to reboard for my wife. Anymore my son and I are riding our X2s.

    Cool

Well the best person to ask I just traded my Honda R12 in due to a cracked muffler again.
Don't get me wrong the R12 was great ski reliable good on gas as well @500 hrs only a few problems.
But now so hard to get parts for.
That would put me off for getting another.

As for the spark get a 60hp and Vtech it and it will leave the R12 behind hole shot is great in sports mode it will keep up with anything up to 50MPH and then they are going to wave good by to you.
The Spark is the only ski I have ridden half way up a wave and pull accelerate up it faster
I don t care about top end more for fun waves and turns the R12 wouldn't do as well see videos

    Honda

    Spark
