Will a 664946 ECM work on a 2003 GTX Ltd Supercharged?

I searched previous posts but no answers on this one. I have a 2003 GTX Ltd Supercharged here that has a 420664562 (most current = 420664566) ECU that's bad. I have several 420664946 ones here (used on 2006 GTX Ltd, RXP, RXT, and 2006-2007 boats) and would like to use one on the 2003 if it will work. The numbers don't cross but will the 946 work in place of a 562(566)? If not what's the difference if you know? I don't want to plug it in if it's potentially going to damage this ecm so thanks in advance for any help on this one!

This seems like it should be a simple question but maybe not? No one has any ideas on this one?

This GTX is pretty much on hold in the shop until I can get an answer on this one so just to update, haven't figured this question out yet so once again any help will be appreciated! I've heard GreenHulk is where to go for 4TEC answers but it seems I might have stumped some people with this one apparently.

No it will not work correctly. RX is 215 GTX is 185. The 06 has MPEM premium cluster rear TOPS vent different crank trigger etc. Yes for test it should? start the GTX but it will throw codes.

Thanks for the info! That's kinda what I figured when I saw that things didn't cross but wanted a confirmation. The module currently doesn't have a lanyard associated with it so wondering if I can use the ski to program that mpem? Might give it a shot today and see if I can access.
