    R5WaterXRacing Statement Regarding 2014 Season....

    *ATTENTION R5 FAMILY*

R5Water-XRacing would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us over our five year run of promoting. Each and every person involved has made it well worth every second.

Brian and I have decided to take an extended/permanent break from promoting region five. We are and will always be involved in the wonderful sport of watercraft racing but feel that R5Water-XRacing has run it's course. We are extremely proud of the level of racing we were able to bring to region five. It has been an awesome sight watching the juniors grow and progress. As well as watching friendships blossom amongst the racers through out our run.

It's is now time for someone with the same passion plus some new ideas to step up and continue to offer the finest level of competition racing available here in region five.

For our beloved sport to thrive we need more of this below.

Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success. Henry Ford

We enjoyed the ride! See y'all on the starting line! Peace out brothers and sisters!🏁

What in terms of $$ will it take to pick up the raines ... purchase your setup & gear for the races ... if $$ is the main issue you can open up the idea of promoting the race season & Region 5, as a club owned venue ...,I would venture to sat you already have a enough riders that would pony up funds to one the region 5, race program and they can run it as an open invitational program. Just guessing here ... but let's say you have $30K to recoup in your setup/program/equipment ... etc., then 40 or 50 co-op club members could pony up $600 to $750. to take over the show and when races start ... pool & bank any proceeds after exspenses to eventually pay back principle to the club ... just a thought. P.S. I assume each time you host a race you cost run $3K to $4K per weekend. O-Well just some ideas to keep the dream a live.
