    Don't know, not my failure.

Previous owner reported riding as normal, then experienced bogging and took to a jet ski shop. Shop quoted $800 in parts and labor to replace all three pistons, a wrist pin, and a gasket set. They only pulled the PTO head. The other two piston/cylinders look fine. I guess hydrolock could cause the piston itself to crack/rupture. I'll have to check index now. Haven't pulled the motor yet to inspect the crank, but will tonight.

Maybe bad crank bearing on rod. Or hydro blown head gasket.

The orientation of the crack is the same on both pistons. Interesting.

Hyoctane - Any crank damage as a result of the Hydrolock?

I haven't had a chance to pull mine yet as I got shipped off to Toronto yet again...!!

The wash on my piston would seem to indicate a ton of liquid prior to hydrolock.. Water or fuel? I'll have to open up the carbs when I get home and have a look see.....
