    :) woody hits 78.2

Just got a call from Kevin, Still at the water with a little adjustments went 78.2 mph. With awesome handling. That is awesome with a ski that still is being broken in and running real rich, And the big key is that he is doing these numbers at over 4000 ft. elevation (WOW) Keep up the good work Woody.

    Thanks EWE clowns!!!!!!!!

Boat was at 4 bars fuel, ready to drop to 2. Todays RAD wasnt the best but it was alot of fun..The ski was actually gaining rpm/speed when i let off.See, i run from the large body of water into a cove thats approx. 1/4 mile.Well the water level is not all the way up yet so i keep misjudging my distance.I basically let off before i stuck it in the mud. My rpm was 7220 @ 78.2mph. This is with handling and only 12 gallons through a new motor. Is 79 possible? Sure it is.Wait till it loosens up and i take the corroded plugs out and lean the fuel down. Very happy, very good day.More speed to lay down.

Thats GREAT WOODY!!! Your going to be over 80 in what a week?? What prop are you turning 7220? you can probably get your 80mph just buy pitching another 100 rpms out of that beast and tuning the fuel.

Thanks Porky. The prop is a 14/22. I dont have my mind set at 80 anytime soon.I know i have the power to spin another degree on the back to get me over 79.I still have break in and tuning left.Im consentrating on these items first, then ill pull for 80. Im chasing the heat right now.As you know, rpms drop when it gets hot.A 14/23 would be the real deal.

I almost forgot.I got rid of my buck problem! The buck basicaly cost me .5 mph.I ran 77.7 yesterday on a better air day than today so it probably gave me a little more.
