    Fx1000 no spark ????

Any help with no spark at plugs all fuses ok and fuel pump is running when start button pushed.
Just completed the valve adjustment but tied the chain to cams so as not not disturb the cam to chain installation.
Dont know if the ski was running before the customer brought it to me.

What controls the coils?? i am more a sedaoo tech and not familiar with Yamaha.

Throttle cable too tight, and also the sensor with four houses coming out of it going to the throttle body if it has that. Check your cables. Best bet is to put it on yds and it will show up.

I have a similar issue with mine right now. I get a spark for the first crank then it stops. Keeps spitting fuel, and no spark. Checked resistance on coils, wires, and new spark plugs all are good. Tossed new plugs just to safe on mine. Nothing happened. I replaced all my exhaust gaskets as some were leaking water back in. So I don't have exhaust issues.
