    where is the heat exchanger info?

    been searching for half an hour and can't find the heat exchanger info for when you install and aftermarket ride plate on the 4tecs. thanks to whoever is kind enough to post it

    Most skis I see put a 30 plate exchanger in.

    us northern riders can use a 20 plate and never have a problem
    we very rarely see 90* water

    Correct,I run a 20 plate and see water temps no higher than 175 on a hot day with a 160 thermostat..

    I use a 15 plate on one ski and a 20 on the other both feed off the main water in tee,ed and reduced to 1/4" id and dump the heat-x out.

    mine is a T with reducer going to IC then dump over
    and the HE dumps into the exhaust

    Its very easy to over cool with the heat-x..
