    Back on the water...finally!

Just thought I would update on the repair to my 300 received back from dealer 2 weeks ago after a 4 months of downtime..

So if you want to refresh your memory go to "dealer fing up my ski thread"

short story...after Kawi agreed to replace valve guides dealer sent out old head to machine shop but the shops press was broken and this killed a few weeks...finally the machine shop tech noticed hiarline cracks in the head in guess where? number 1&4 cyclinder which is why the plugs kept fouling and I had power loss after riding for a little bit.

So a new head with new valves.. giudes.etc was installed along with new exhaust filter and the updated piston rings.

So far so good..have about 2.5 hrs. on a break in schedule of 5hrs....runs fine wants to tach up but keeping it below 5300 ....will take it out this weekend as we have forecasted mid 80 degree weather which will be a bit cooler as water temps are in the mid 60's.

Kawi gave me an extra 4 months on my GTPP...

i have no idea what cause the head to crack but please dont tell me it because my post ride maint. sucked!

All is well and I missed my ski...forgot how much fun it is!

Sounds like you finally have it sorted - no out of pocket expense, Kawasaki picked up the full tab?

    Sweet....
That's really nice they extended the warranty.
Just before its out of warranty I'd 100% check everything.

    Now go clock some hours!!!!
