    2006 RXT overheatin

I have a a 2006 RXT that is overheating-engine overheating. Coolant seems to be backing out through the small clear hose on the expansion tank. I initially thought that the thermostat was not opening but when I took the tstat housing off and put the heat gun to it, it opened.
    Any ideas?

That's what I was thinking but I usually would see black particles in the reservoir when the head gasket fails and I am not seeing this. I will pull the head, skim it and reinstall with new head gasket.

I hope you got a good deal..

Maybe that's why they were selling it?

Get a seadoo shop manual if your not familiar with 4 tecs..

Jerry has all the parts you need in the Hulk store at 10% off.
Use the search function on this site and you will find many threads on head gasket replacement.
