Adding second bilge pump to FZR

Anyone add a second bilge pump to their FZ? I'm going to add a manually activated Rule 800 gph (largest size for 3/4" hose) hardwired to the battery as a backup. I was planning on mounting to the hull liner on the left or right side of the pump tunnel and running a 3/4" 45* bilge outlet fitting out the top deck near the stock bilge tell-tale.

Before I do this I wanted to see if anyone else had a better idea. I didn't find anything other than a bunch of seadoo threads on search. I'm considering deleting my bilge siphon to allow easier changes of washers under the lucky 13 pump cone. Would this be ill advised?

I have fitted one to my SHO I made a Stainless Bracket to fit between the hull and battery box and mounted the outlet at the rear. Pump I fitted was 2500 LPH I think its on a switch fused to the Battery.

    left std outlet
    center Intercooler
    Right bilge outlet

    Well in the UK
the right one is a 3/4 outlet for the extra bilge pump and the one on the left is the std bilge pump outlet .

the one in the middle that's central to left and right is the outlet for the Intercooler .

This does depend if your sitting with the steering in front or behind you also .

Is the 3/4" fitting there one you got from Jerry or Riva? Your setup is just like mine. I've got a 1/2" intercooler outlet there nearby the stock bilge fitting on the upper rear deck. I'm going to put the new backup bilge fitting between them.

ha ha yea I ment the left......its a vent, water never came out mine it comes out on LEFT SIDE OF SKI IN REAR LOL The bilge uses a Vacuum from tube in nozzle, to outlet it out with the electric bilge pump at rear bottom the vent keeps it from air locking
