I got an adapter from him maybe 6 months ago. Then found out it doesn't fit the SHO shaft. He said he doesn't make one for the SHO shaft. I was gonna send it back but now I think Im gonna make it work

Ahhh, that must be what it is. All my customers are looking for a conversion to SHO shaft.

    Hi everyone,

I always have the complete GPR RXP adapter kit in stock available for sale. The adapter kit is designed to be used with a RXP motor using a GPR driveshaft. For a SHO motor installation the same pump adapter, water fittings and nozzle adapters can be used. But for the a SHO motor, a different driveshaft is required. I do not sell a driveshaft for the SHO motor installation.

Everything I offer for sale can be seen in my build thread.

For SHO driveshafts I can suggest 2 alternatives. Ted was at one point manufacturing a replacement one piece driveshaft. Though it is my understanding he may no longer be interested in doing this. The other idea would be to take the driveshaft adapter designed for the RXP implementation and cut threads in it which can then be used to screw the adapter on to a cut SHO driveshaft that also has had threads cut in it.
