    2014 fzr ride plate ?

    anyone know if this plate will fit a 2013 vxr ? I haven't seen a new one yet .

    dont hold me to it but i think i recall jerry saying that it would...as i made a mental note to put it on my list as well when they become available

    Yes the 2014 ride plate will fit. We tested with a loss of MPH but made the VXR handle very good

    Sounds like the same thing that happened on the older style ride plate FZ swap to a VXs/r....I tried it in 2011 and it was a 4+mph loss and felt like a slug.....

    Unless I miss my guess the 2014 ride plate will still need some machine work on it to get the best speed possible and still handle some what good, Just give JIM a little time with it and you will see the improvement . It won't be a bolt on from the factory that is as good as you can get out of it, Tommy Jordan

    If we can get some kind of compromise that maintains the rough water and handling of a '14 FZ plate, while not losing too much speed versus a VX plate, then I'm all ears.
