    Clutch Measured!

Sorry..meant to say " Idler Measured"

I measured the idler gear as I can't get to the clutch without disassembling.

    Is it the 2013 clutch?

    Thank you!

bscpaint, Both the old and new type idler gears have the same number of teeth on the large portion of the idler gear only the smaller gear on the idler gear has differant tooth count on the 2013 gear you are thinking about the clutch it self which has two differant numbers of teeth on it. Tommy I was almost 100% sure the idler gear had 1 tooth less on the 2013 compared to the older ones that's why Riva has 2 gear dampners one is from 2008-2012 and the new one which is more expensive is 2013+ I have a picture somewhere. I could be wrong or not be talking about the same thing tho.

You are correct there is one tooth less but it is on the small gear of the idler not the larger gear on the idler and since his engine is together the small gear on the idler can't be seen or counted, the thickness is the only way to tell which set you have on the oem gears when it is allready assembled in the motor. Ahh. Ok now it makes sence thanks for clearing that up. For some reason I was assuming the idler was already out and just didn't remove the clutch.
