SHO intake manifold gasket?
How do you tell if it needs to be replaced?
Are they re-usable when you remove the intake from the block?

According to the service manual I have, it says the intake manifold gasket is not a reusable part. However, I dont think it needs to be replaced unless it is torn or has visual damage. When I pulled my intake manifold, the gasket was in great shape and I reused it as many people on the forums do.

I have removed the intake manifold about 10 times so far
And gasket (O Ring) is still good

I am chasing a boost leak that I get after 13/14 lbs. The intercooler and hoses seem to hold pressure. The throttle damper is not loose.
The vacuum line off of the map sensor was not a snug fit but I did not think that would be the culprit for a boost and rpm loss.
With the E1 wheel I was getting 13/14 lbs of boost at 7200/7300 rpms.
I had the same issue with the ET LB WHEEL but I was getting 7700/7800 rpms with 13/14 lbs of boost!

Having a hard time understanding the quoted piece, how many rpms are you down?? switched wheels?? Intake manifold gasket is not a cheap gasket and it is almost worth buying the full gasket kit just for extras. Add the gaskets up seperate and its absurd how expensive it gets. IF it comes to testing that seal maybe pull the manifold and bolt it to a piece of thick aluminum and pressure test it.
