    Gp1300 oil light mod resistor mod

    so i got no oil level sensor on my ski and some one ( previous owner) figured it was ok to pre mix and just bridge the sensor wires for oil and every ride i get the warning light and beeping can i use a resistor and what rating to avoid the warning, can some one measure the sensor with the float up to see the ohm rating that way i get get a resistor with a similar load to fool the ecu. thanks.

    it should be ok with bridge wires, it will show a full tank on the display. if it beeps make sure there is a good connection where they bridge the wires. are you sure the warning is from low oil?
