    2013.5 300x ECU rev/unhooking Limiter

    ok, enough is enough, this dam rev/unhooking limit is driving me nuts!

    I'm going to have a RANT!

    At 1/2-3/4 throttle it's a joke. It pulls the ski back to the point it wont skip over the swell, it powers off and drops the nose at the worst possible time, crashing hard into the next swell.

    You can avoid it by giving it more throttle, but then you end up speeding up too much (not ideal in some situations). It hits the rev limit "correctly" then, and does let it skip over bigger swell rather than fall flat on it's face (and me into the handle bars).

    It doesn't do it in light chop as bad, but as soon as it unhooks for more than a split second, power is cut and simply doesn't come back on quick enough.

    I suspect Kawi changed the rev limit from a simple fuel/ignition cut to adding a timing retard (ignition also maybe?) at a load/rev point prior to the the actual hard rev limit (a soft limit if you like)

    Anyway, it sucks, and it's crap! They broke my hard hitting 300x of 2011.

    Who knows what happened here?

    seams the late 300 and the 310 have a few items to be resolved before it is ready to race

    Just run a previous model 300 ecu. It will be back to normal
