CD Player and twin Speakers On a GTX!!!!!!!!
I bought a cd/am/fm stereo unit that came with two 6 inch cone speakers. Everything is water and corrosion proof and marine grade. My first biggest question is, can I use a large 12v boat battery like I have in my whaler for my johnson 70horse motor? Would it hurt anything to just get rid of the small battery I have now and use the big boat style battery? I don't think the little tiny battery I have now will survive long with me using my stereo on my gtx. This is a 580 motor by the way. If they are both 12 volt batterys will there be any problem using this battery? I won't need a switch because the stereo system has a power button. Say for some reason I cannot use the bigger 12 volt battery like on my whaler, how can I run two batteries or just get more current so it can be used without trouble starting the ski up. Can I set this up just like I would on my boat? Thanks, Charlie

I think I might just find a speaker that will connect to my mp3 player that I can mount inside the hull. I just want it to be loud enough to here outside of the hull. Is this doable? Can anyone show me a site to find speakers like this? Thanks, Charlie

Pretty much any size, mounting capability (although I certainly don't suggest any type of free-air speaker system), power handing, pre-amped, etc., you can think of.
May have to get creative w/ iPod/MP3 output, but there are a few options.
