Oil message on gage cluster
I have a 2002 SeaDoo 4tec that oil comes up on the gage cluster shortly after starting. It also seems to run a little rough. Both oil pumps were rebuilt. Any ideas? I have had it hooked up and no code have been thrown.

Check the oil level. If it has enough oil then IMO it is probably an issue with your oil pressure or oil pressure sensor.[/QUOTE]
Yup, and it could also be a scored/stuck/sticking oil pressure regulator (in the bottom of PTO cover).

The 1st couple years of 4tecs had issues with oil pressure sensors.

When the oil idiot light comes on is that a indication of low oil level or low oil pressure?
