    Help with seat.

I have a GTR215 that I let sit in my garage with my life-jacket on the seat. When I removed the jacket I noticed there was a stain where the jacket has been sitting. It almost looks like the color of the jacket penetrated and stained the seat. I have tried numerous things trying to remove it with no luck. Anybody have an idea of how to clean it ?

If the seat is white you can try one of the sponges use to clean the bath tubs. Thats what i use on my daughters ski!!

    Hi

I've had my seat replaced under warranty for something similar I have a 2012 GTR
I always lifted the seat to drain and dried of any excess water but gradually pink and blue circles started appearing on the sides of the seat.
Nothing to do with my wet suits as there black ---- there are other threads on here might help you but nothing I tried chemical or otherwise would remove them.
I have to say BRP were painless and replaced it within a few days of receiving the photo evidence.

    Good luck

How about 'shout', used for stain removal from clothing?

Sorry bud, thats not going to come out. You've essentially dyed the material, wiping it or cleaning solutions are only going to wear the material out more. Hit it with some white vinyl paint, try to forget its there, or break out the staple gun and recover it. It sucks, looks like a nice seat, ive had the same thing happen to yellow and silver seats of mine. I just bought a material for my seadoos that was very nice for mounting, best of all it doesn't get hot whatsoever...itll sit out in the how key west sun all day long and a child could sit on it without any issue. I cant think of it now but will ask my partner what it was. Ill be doing all my fleet with this material, very soon.
