Probably the carbon seal. There is not really any way to tell by looking at it while it is installed.

the front of the intake grate? The back side will hold water due to how it sarcastically mates to the ride plate but the front is a sealed unit. Even has a rubber ass gasket under it.

that's normal if it has not been sealed properly around the ride plate area. Water finds that as the lowest point and drips from it.

Put some water in the hull while the ski is on the trailer and see if it leaks.
Then crank it and stab the throttle a few times to see if it leaks.

    How many hours on it?
Have you ever replaced the carbon seal?

When u flush it on the hose, the water flows back out thru the pump strainer (black plastic piece on pump), & back into the pump, shoe, grate area.

If u hadn't just flushed it, than it could be a carbon seal issue.

allright filled the hull up with water same issue, small drip drip leak out of the same area.
everything is pretty well sealed up...
no water could been seen leaking from around the drive shaft area ( under the ski)
i then started it up with the carbon seal completely submerged (hulls for of water) and observed no leaks...
the leak appears to be coming from inbetween the ride plate and hull? its not leaking down from anywhere and its only on the battery side of the intake grate, ivs removed the intake grate and sealed behind it, so im guessing its the ride plate and between the hull some how????

the carbon seal isnt that old maybe 25hrs? however my pump shoe is out of alinement to some degree as when i installed my pump extension i made sure to get the motor 100% straight this however did but the carbon seal on the piss slightly thought it would last longer? or that there would be a clear way to tell once its past its service life?
not sure if i feel like towing it 3hrs to the river this weekend only to get there and it leak... when i could take the boat
