    2012 Kawasaki Ultra LX Performance.

I bought this ski last June. Moving forward what can I do to make it a bit faster (5-7 MPH) is it possible with this ski? It is currently stock. I want to push 55-60 mph out of it. There does not seem to be a lot out there for it. is it compatible with any of the supercharged skis for parts?

    Nope.
You can try simple things like freer flowing intake and exhaust but the speed gain would be minimal with lots of gain in noise. Acceleration may improve a bit though.
If 5-7 mph can be gained easily from the engine, Kawi engineers would have had more than enough chances to do it during last 10+ years (the same engine was first used 2003 15F). Just keep it stock reliable and enjoy the ride.

IMO while not the fastest it is one of the best recreational skis ever made. As MGM stated just accept that it is what it is. A reliable, stable, and comfortable rec ski. I personally tried several things and while I did get some results it was not worth the sacrifice made to achieve it.

Yes, Ultra LX has the 100% same N/A engine as on the 15F and 99% same hull as on the Ultra s/c skis.

Search this site a bit, there is at least one person who has the NA LX who is getting nearly 60 out of it, your best bet are a free flow intake vs the factory air box, there should also be some sort of ride plate made for the supercharged models that would fit, many times these ski are a bit underpropped in case you are actually towing or riding 3 people on it, an upgrade there could help, but props are expensive, so again find someone on this site who has tried one. You should be able to get 3 or 4mph, more than that will be difficult.

Have you done that on a LX?

Factory OEM air intake is your best bet for the following reasons:

    - Air Intake best location for "cooler air"
    - Where Factory Intake is located provides best resistance to water intake / ingestion

Don't discount the OEM. They built the Ski and may very well know what's best. JB

In my opinion ride it the way it is..

The time n effort your going to put into it isn't going produce good results.

Sell it and buy a faster version if you've got the need for speed.
    Just my .02..
