Here is my fresh Spark. I purchased the 3 up. I removed the back deck when I got it home. The platform removal took about 15 minutes. It was really easy to do. I also removed the top deck to see the engineering. SeaDoo is genius with this platform. It can be customized to your performance liking. I am excited to see what the aftermarket will bring. I haven't had it out on the water yet. I am located on the bay in New England and it is cold. I am going to get it wet on the next nice day though! I can't wait to compare its agility to the X4.

When you removed the rear deck are there any bolt holes or anything that have to be filled or plugged in some way to prevent water from entering? or does any of the hull have to be supported with any fittings/ hardware? The reason I am asking I was thinking about the 3 up and removing the rear deck because i wanted the slightly longer seat. The dealer i was talking with said that if i removed the deck there are brackets that had to be removed and there would be holes in the hull? so then i thought about the possibility of buying the 60hp. 2up and maybe buying the seat and hardware from the 3 up and install it? and also flashing the ecm to 110hp. have not been able to find the pricing on the seat and hardware. But anyway this dealer pegged my BS meter! So now time to drive farther and maybe try again?

There are 12 bolts that hold the extension platform to the hull. All of the holes are blind holes and do not require filling, so you don't have to worry about sealing it up. I did not put any of the fasteners back in. Attached is a picture of them. They are T30 Torx drive. There are no additional brackets as your dealer stated. The platform itself splits into two pieces, a top and bottom half with foam in between.

I was able to locate an online source that had pricing for 14' models parts. The 3 up seat is $474.99. Attached is the link to the site.

I purchased the 3up because it gives you more options and a 3 person rating. I like equipment with utility. The seat is slightly longer and will be a little more comfortable for a bigger rider and passenger for sure. I want to know if a 2up cover will fit on a model with a 3up seat... It might be tight.

I'm sure that I will also flash the ECU or go with a turbo setup in the future. I have a 95 xp that is an absolute blast to ride in the surf and its only 85hp. I am a smaller rider and really appreciate these toss-able machines.

2up HO, convenience package, scs unlimited wraps in "sunburst". Came this way, but happy as it was a 2nd hand ski with 8 hours on the clock.

Due to restrictions in Sydney I have only been able to use it mildly so far, looking forward to the open water.

What was the first owners reason for selling so quickly? And how much of a discount did you benefit from?
