Welcome to the Forum, I second Waz's post. At that RPM you should be at a higher speed. If that is GPS speed you may have a worn impeller and/or pump liner.
    How many hours?

27 hours . It's a gps speed . It's had the prop changed to a Solas as my mate borrowed the ski and sucked up some rocks damaging the stock one . Maybe the clearances aren't right on it

What pitch Solas are you running? 14/21 at that RPM should still be at least a couple MPH faster. Is everything else stock? Is that the max rpm on the dash or the actual rpm while you are running?

I have no idea what pitch . I will have to check the invoice . The rpm is what's displayed as max on the dash

    Everything else is untouched

With that being your speed, I would bet your rpms are lower. There is so much that can cause this. Fuel level, trim position, impeller pitch, impeller to pump clearance, was the pump liner damaged when the rock was sucked up, belt slip. This is all the non mechanical things before looking into those possibilities.

Fuel level was 3/4 , trim was one up from centre . Maybe that wasn't the rpm when I grabbed 69mph. Maybe it spiked to that when I was jumping waves . I'm taking it out again on Tuesday so I will have a look at it all again then .

That very well could be where those rpms came from. Get as much info about what is going on while riding and come back here. We have many members quite familiar with this ski that can help you out.
