    New Guy from Upstate NY

hey all, just picked up a new to me 97 XP with what im pretty sure is the 787 motor in it. Completely new to ski's, but i got this one for $50 with the trailer.... so i think i did alright by me. Havent tried to do anything with it yet, but i know it needs a new battery, and ill be back on here a lot after i get that into it and see whats going on. I was told it was hydro-locked, but im thinking pulling the plugs and getting a compression test will be a good place to start and see whats going on. Looking forward to learning a lot about this thing on here!
