Use a Seadoo supercharger on a liter bike?

    Hey guys, I have a couple seadoo's one is a 2004 RXP 215 , the other a 2011 RXT 260

Just been thinking about putting a supercharger on a 2008 CBR1000RR motorcycle.
I think the volume output of a 255/260 supercharger just might be about a correct match.

Does anyone have any thoughts on using these superchargers on motorcycles?
I am only thinking about it as an option because they seem to be much less expensive than say a Rotax might cost.

Thanks for any and all your thoughts!

You need to account for slipping of the SC...On our setup its gears and clutch, on a roots style or centrifugal the slip happens on the serpentine belt.....Either way, if it was direct drive, you would snap the SC shaft the first time you changed gears when the motor dropped RPM when the gear changed, but the SC keeps spinning....

Go ahead. I couldn't see this getting very good mpg, though You might be better off getting a small turbo for the engine it has already. You got a heck of a lot of work to do. Will probably fly if you could get this to work, though. I've thought about putting a 300x on a bike, but it'd go through a 5-10 gal. Tank real quick. But if you were going to mod it and make a drag bike that might work. Or a show bike.

Oh I thought you were talking about putting the 260 engine on it. Lol just put a turbo, the sc will probably have problems and would rob a good bit of power. Just mod your skis and have fun. Dont know about you, I have a lot more fun haulin ass on water than land. Lol

if you could get this to work reliably it'd be a beast though

These guys make some bike superchargers. These would be a much easier project and more reliable superchargers.
