Need Help Fixing up 2000 GPR1200 before summer!!!

I am going to be rebuilding my carbs and getting a new impeller for my ski and have it put together before summer comes. Is there anything else that i need to get when replacing the impeller. I am quite new at working on jet skis but i am capable. The impeller i am getting is a Solas YF-CD 14/20. I also was wondering if anyone had any advice on the jetting. I am at an elevation of 4000ft and i already have the ez tune kit installed. Thank you in advance.

That seems like an aweful steep pitch. That is listed for a modified engine at sea level. It would perform horribly at 4000 ft elev. Call impros and see what they recommend. I ride at 5000 ft, and need to use a depitched impeller to run the engine in the proper rpm's. When running at elevation, impeller pitch is just as important (if not more) than jetting.

I know it's not a Yamaha, but a Seadoo XP Limited uses a solas 14/20 on a stock engine. Mine (at 5000 ft elev) has flame arrestors, jet kit, and a high compression head, and runs a 13/18, and could use a little less pitch. Elevation kills horsepower.

14/20 is too big. You'll still get to 65+mph with a 13/19 provided it can be spun at your level and modification.

I tell you ... purchase the 13/19 prop ... you will be glad you did. I have the 08 GP1300 with high compression heads & advanced timing key way and my 14/20 great for top end .... but 13/19 would give more punch in the hole shot .... just saying.

OK Cool. I will get the 13/19 then. should i replace anything else while i have that out. Thank you all. What about the jetting? I read on here to go with 110 pilot 120 main 1.5n/s 95gram springs. I have disconnected the accelerator pump and left the chokes in. This ski came from hawaii so I assume it was jetted for there. The EZ tune kit has been installed already.

Pump seal kit. Ride plate. Intake grate. Pump cone. Bored nozzle.

    Those are your nearby options.

If you rejet, then you should go with the free breathing after market flame arrestors. The stock flame arrestor is to restrictive and it will be difficult to tune properly.
