    fair price on 2007 gti-se?

New to the forum as well as pwc's and hoping to rely on the experience of the members.

I'm looking to buy my first pwc, primarily for my offspring and grandchildren. I have an opportunity to buy an immaculate 2007 GTI-SE with only 66 hours and comes with trailer. It's a consignment unit being offered at a dealership and the owners are asking $5900. Salesman is telling me the owners turned away an offer for $5000 last week-end, but will take $5500. Based on what i've seen in the NADA price guides and Kelly Blue Book, this seems to be a bit overpriced. I'm leaning towards buying it, but would greatly appreciate any advice or opinions from Sea Doo owners.

Thanks for the welcome. i live in houston, but the ski would be used almost exclusively at lake livingston.

    Check florida craigslist.

    Save yourself some big $$$$
If you find something in Orlando i can check it out for you.
This time of year you should be 10-20% less than nada

that was my thought as well. nada and kelly both have avg retail at around $4100. add $500 for the trailer and i figure it should be around $4700 at most. not a lot of bells and whistles, there's no allowance for low hours, and avg retail price assumes the ski is in excellent condition. my guess is they want to make $xxx and they have to gross that up to account for the consignment fee.......

For what is worth I bought a pair of 2007 GTI 130's (150 hrs on each) with an aluminum triton tadem trailer for $5,500. It was just in October and I am in Indiana but they are in perfect condition with immaculate service records.
