    Good time warranty

Question.. if a dealer quotes you a 48month warranty shouldnt your total warranty be 5 years from purchase date?

Can you buy the extended anytime while under the first year factory?

Some dealers will sell you an after market warranty if you dont buy the manufacturers extended warranty at the time you purchase your ski.
You dont want the after market warranty unless your planning on taking your ski out of the USA. Some after market warranties are good world wide.

Well i verified with kawasaki.com and called kawi customer service.
*you can buy the good times extended anytime during your first year.
*the most offered is 48month not 60 as dealer was selling it.
*you can buy it directly from customer service at kawi customer support number.

So i cancelled my contract and will buy my warranty later from kawi directly.

Good call there. You want the GTPP Kawasaki Factory Warranty and NOT the Western General or any other. It is a much better product/service when needed.
If you wait until almost first year is up and buy the extended warraanty then that gives you about 5.
Any 5 or 6 year offering would be a non-manufacturer warranty as they do not offer a 5-6 year warranty.

gents, warranty law is complicated and varies greatly among states.

Most complicated if the dealer you are buying from is in a different state.

Do your due diligence regarding warranty terms and actual coverage, and most importantly the actual expiration dates. Some plans extend factory warranty, others replace it completely and some other run alongside the warranty provided by the manufacturer.

    best advice:

    KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING

I got a "good time" warranty when I bought my GP1200R - I get on and ride and it is guaranteed to give me a good time
