    rxt x 255

    My ski has some issues. Most times now when I start it, its idling at 2100 rpms instead of 1700. The throttle is all the way pushed back and is not stuck. Then when I get it to 6000 rpms it starts bogging like its about to stall and the oil light comes on. I changed the oil which wasn't that bad and it was doing fine for 15 mins and then happened again. When I shut it off it works for a few minutes then does the same thing. The check engine is on as well. I have BUDS and don't know how to clear the check engine light. Any ideas why the high idling and the sudden loss in power and almost stalling the engine? Keep in mind I use the ski for flyboarding.

    How many hrs? I know it did not come with ceramics, but did the ski ever have a SC failure? ie SC locking up.

    This was not the one that got ingested with the salt water. Actually got that one working fine then yesterday I was out on it and it wouldn't go past 5500 rpms. Sounded great started great but it was almost like it was using the learner key, Which of course I wasn't. It was very smooth and not bogging it just stayed locked at 5500 rpms. Any suggestions with that one now? Man I really need a proper mechanic to come have a look and show me some stuff and do some maintenance and servicing. It seems like everyday is a new surprise with these machines and its getting quite frustrating especially since my business relies on them.

    Back to the other machine. It has about 250 hours on it. The supercharger was rebuilt about 30 hours ago. I don't think it had a SC failure. It worked fine for 10 mins yesterday then just started bogging and almost stalling. Once it happens it happens more frequently and at lower RPMs as well.

    The one that got water ingestion could be many things.

    On the other. Bad gas? Maybe try changing the plugs. 6000 rpms sound like something SC related.
