2014 Kawasaki STX 15F dealer cost

Anyone know the dealer cost of a 2014 STX 15F is? I bought one today at the Chicago boat show and feel I got a good deal but wanted to see what you guys think.

    $8499 for the ski
    $595 tax
    $28 registration
    $90 doc fee

    $9212 out the door

    Thoughts?

No matter what the actual number is, as long as you feel you got a good deal with a fair price it is just that.
We can not compare prices on the forum because the different dealers also have to pay taxes on these units and every municipality has different tax codes. They are like any business and can not give away their products or services. I know none of us would work to just break even at the end of the day only earning enough to cover our expenses.

My definition of a good or fair deal is one where the buyer and seller are both happy. You posted you feel you got a good deal and the dealership actually sold it to you for that price meaning they were also happy. Sounds like a great deal to me.
As far as dealer cost, their price from Kawi, floor plan, insurance, and all other overhead need to be taken into consideration to truely know exactly what that unit cost him.

    Welcome to the Kawasaki Family
Pictures please. I think this year is the best looking STX ever.

    Good point.
I haven't taken delivery since I live in Chicago and it snowed 4" today. lol. It looks hot and can't wait to ride it in the spring.
First 4 stroke I've owned. Any info on the break in procedures?

Just follow proper procedure. Yes some do it differently but the recommended way from the MFG you can't go wrong. This is such a great fun ski and will outlast your intrest in it with just a little care. One of the most reliable crafts on the market.
Just each season change the oil and plugs need it or not you should never have an issue.

And don't forget lots of pictures to post up when you get it. Also since you are on your first 4 stroke and many are getting interestedin this craft, when you do get to ride it start up a ride report/ first impression thread. I know myself along with quite a few others would love to hear all about it. This ski could quite possibly be one of my next purchases.

Will do. Hope to ride it by late march early April depending on Chicago weather.

They are fantastic skis, should you ever run into issues check the thread in my signature, it outlines pretty much every possible issue.

    Enjoy it!

    1. I'm considering another one myself but might just wait one more year to see if they finally come out with a new stx. The 14 is by far the best looking one to date!

I think you got a good deal, when I was looking for a 15F in 2010, I found some new 09's for $7995, considering a 5 year newer ski & the color combo is now much better looking, you did well. Being your first 4 stroke you will love this ski, its far better than ANY 2 stroke ski I have driven, it has bullet proof reliabilty & if you want for less than $500 you can increase the top speed by 5 mph on this ski.
