    2007 rxt max speed displayed???

    I have a 2007 rxt with about 105 hours..
It has a solas impeller ( unsure of pitch) was fitted before I purchased
Mods are only x charger and 42 lb injectors.
Fitted the x charger only because my stock one was due for rebuild.
Ski hits 113 (speedo not gps) at around 7700 rpm-7800 but keeps reving out to around 8100 ish.
Do the stock speedos stop at 113 kmph? Roughly 70 mph

get a GPS to verify or if you have a newer iphone/android there is an app that is reliable for speed #'s too

Sounds like u need a larger prop, or repitch. If its hitting 8180, and bouncing back to 7800, and climbs back up, your on the limiter.

What size solas is in it?

Doesnt bounce back to 7800... itpases 7800 at 113 kmph but keeps going up to near 8100 ish. With speedo staying at 113
I have no idea what the prop pitch is previous owner fitted it ... is there an easy way to see without pulling to much of the pump apart?

the dash won't go past 70 and is just plain wrong past 60 from what I've seen. Maybe in this really cold weather you can get 70 from an X and 42s but that's not common.

No, unfortunately, you would need to pull the pump, and prop, to read the pitch size on the side of the prop hub to find out.

8100 rpms are ideal for your ECU, 7800 is low. How old is the wear ring in it?

The wear ring looks in fairly good condition can see the smallest of gaps between the ring and impeller all most none.
    I

Had it out today and it doesn't really get above 8100, im thinking the impeller is prob spot on .
I can not believe the difference just an x charger and injectors made to this
