It all depends on what brand/model not all ride plates need to be sealed.

750 SS i have a pump wedge on pump and shimmed rideplate with a few washers. Will sealing it with silicone help with porpoising or not? Am wondering before i change more variables than i have to. Was goin to just shim with a few more washers first just need some input

No sealing the ride plate will not change the bounce.
