    717 ('95 XP) vs 787 in X4 hull?

    I currently have a '97 SPX with the 110hp 787. Great ski and have a great time on it. I'm not much into top speed, I spend most of my time with tailstands, spins, slides etc.
    Just curious how much different this hull is with the 717. Looks like the the fuel usage on the 717 is quite abit better than my 787.
    Anyone have seat time on both?
    Is the fun factor that much better power with the 787?

    There is a noticeable power difference between the two. But for what your into I would definitely try one out if you're looking for fuel savings. A lot of times I ride the old stand up to offset the cost of my wife's fuel sucking 1200 triple!
