    I don't think it will be a good option. There is a risk that the rings might brake. Cylinder is longer on the 250x. If you lift up the 15F cylinder, there will be 5mm missing in the bottom, and your bottom piston ring might fall off. I don't want to try that... better option by now is to go with a 250x cylinder. Strongest way to go with that turbo engine.

    Je ~12.5:1 Forged (used on NA Boat)
    MTC 10.6:1 Forged (used in riva boat)
    MTC 10.1:1 Forged (new)
    MTC 9.6:1 Forged (new)

    Hi guys!
    It's been a while since I haven't post anything... the build was in standby for the past year, but I got back to work, and hope it will be working soon!

    Engine rebuild last week, with Sean's pistons, and mounting of the turbo this weekend

    cool but you really needed to surface that block and head before you put the head gasket on. No way that is RA 50 or less required by a MLS gasket. Did you use ARP 2000 studs for the boost?

    Yeah, I know... But we don't have any good shop in Tahiti to surface blocks and heads... I mounted it with grease, and will check compression when I will have finished the turbo piping job. Nope, I used stock studs, but I won't be running full boost, I'm not aiming for the fastest ski

    how much boost are you capable of, and how much boost will you be running?

    IHIVF34 turbo are tuned to 15psi out of box. I am planing to run between 10 and 15. We'll see it when tuning the engine.
