Damaged stator from rocks. Will it generally lower RPM or raise?

Had a ski come in with leaky IC (2011 rxtx).
    So:

New TB, New riva gen 3 IC.

At same time: 4 inch air, vtech tune, 15/21 prop (Not my choice) and new wear ring.

    Noticed:
Chunks on leading edge of pump stator missing from rock ingestion. (prop was knackered too)

Anyway, after all this, only seeing 7850 and everything on the vtech logger shows is working correctly.
    8+ psi boost @ 7800.

    So problem solving began...
-Changed plugs, no change in RPM
-Pitched prop down from 15/21 to 15/20, maybe 40 rpm increase! (lol).
-Fuel good, ran it low, changed it out. No change in performance.
    -No knock
    -No bad sensor readings
-Flashed to stock and its seeing 7700. Flashed back to 8375 and 7880 is rpm again.
    -TB reset again
    -Wiring checked for corrosion
-Change out 4 inch air for short stack, no change

    All thats left is:
    -Coil packs
    -Cam timing (untouched)
    -Changing out the pump.
    -Recommend sell the ski lol

I just thought if stator fins have some leading edge missing it would rev harder?

What else could I add to the "to do and try" list ?

I have seen vein damage with no negative impact but I haven't seen one that bad off. I'd figure missing entire chunks would disrupt water flow and abruptly change the flow direction where the pieces are missing

Have you got another pump in better condition you could try ?

It would be interesting to know if the pump is the problem.
