reed valve plate on yahama xlt800
I have a 2004 Yahama xlt800 waverunner. I am dropping in a refiburished SBT engine. My question is it there suppose to be a gasket that goes on the reed valve plate? I knowthere are individual gaskets that go on each reed valve but if there also on the goes on either side of the plate? It there is can anyone tell me where to get one and if there is not does anyone have a suggestion on what if anything should go between the plate and metal? Or should I just leave it metal to metal?
