    Source for a Good Cover...

I'm looking for a source for a good/fitted cover for both our 1994 and 1996 Raiders. I haven't had luck actually finding a Yamaha brand cover for ones this old, but before I ordered from Overton's I wanted to see if anyone else had any better suggestions. We use them primarily for sun shield to prevent fading while on the lifts. We'd like something decent though (as compared to the $40 cheapos I got 2 years ago.)

    Thanks in Advance!!

(The 94 701 is in the shop for a carb clean and tune up but should have back for riding in the 80 degree weather this weekend!)

Hello Janet.long time no hear, hope all is well...... I guess you are speaking of an OEM cover?, that is what most of us use, they are kind of pricey, ,in the -150.00,--165.00 range, but well worth it, they dont come off and you can go down the road without tying it off, it has the vaccu-hold system, you can find them at Parker Yamaha, mine has the zippered parts for the mirrors, and the zipper for the fuel tank, , once you see one you will know... also they have some on e-bay

Old Man Raider, thanks for the link, I think that will work perfectly for mine, wish I knew if it would fit the 1996 1100 as well...says it won't but maybe it will. I'll order one now and check it on both!

Yes my dbf and I ride together on Lanier. We live back in Lost Cove in the back of Young Deer so if you see a couple Radiers that's probably us!

Thanks for the link!!! I use the slippery covers. They are not quite as good as OEM, but my ski's are always outside, so I like cheap, semi disposable covers.

Oh yeah, a raider cover is a raider cover. one for a 94 will fit your 96 just fine.
